The Indians will welcome the Jewish community of central Indiana to Victory Field. Former Indian Ryan Lavarnway, who played for Israel in the 2017 World Baseball Classic qualifier and tournament, the 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2023 World Baseball Classic, will be in attendance to throw a ceremonial first pitch, meet fans in-game for autographs and highlight his book "Baseball and Belonging."

Ryan will also be visiting the JCC Indianapolis and Chabad of Indiana's Summer Camps during the day on Tuesday, July 9 and meeting with campers to read his book.
